Chuck was the first person in the world permitted by Dr.
Edward de Bono to present the Six Thinking Hats process
for focused thinking. In 1993 he became a member of the
Advanced Practical Thinking Training Network and is an accredited
Master Trainer in the de Bono Thinking Methods: Six
Thinking Hats®, Lateral
Thinking®, and Direct Attention
Thinking Tools (DATT™).
Chuck received his Master of Arts degree in Philosophy at
the University of Waterloo and his Bachelor of Arts degree
in Philosophy from Duquesne University. Before developing
his interest in creative thinking, Chuck enjoyed 15 years
of various work experience including: systems consultant,
programmer, technical support representative, regional sales
and support manager and national marketing manager.
During breaks from facilitating idea sessions and promoting
PeopleWorks, Chuck actively participates in his church as
a member of the Leadership Team, lector and occasional lawn
keeper. Chuck serves as a member of the Union Cemetery Historical
Society and an advisory board member of the Abbey Press.
Originally from Pittsburgh, he now lives in Kansas City
with his wife Katie Heschmeyer who has convinced him to
root for the Chiefs instead of the Steelers.
